Learning and Development Specialist
About the Role
TrainingPros is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented L&D Practitioner to lead and execute content strategy, support internal operations, and manage small-scale training projects. This is a hybrid role that combines content creation, L&D projects, and marketing execution, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and wants to help shape the brand voice of a nationally respected contract staffing firm.
Primary Responsibilities:
Content & Marketing
- Work with our team to manage articles, blogs, news, newsletters, and website content creation. Oversee our podcast process. Collaborate on white papers, downloads, and presentations.
Event Support
- Assist with brand representation at trade shows. Travel required.
Account Service Enablement
- Assist with writing proposals and respond to RFIs using branded templates and structured interviews with the RM.
- Analyze current sales processes and recommend improvements that allow the team to prioritize account management.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development.
- Background in instructional design or development strongly preferred. Other L&D specialties will be considered.
- Excellent writing, editing, and content planning skills.
- Hands-on with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and AI tools like ChatGPT.
- Comfortable learning and using new digital platforms.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and instructional design tools (Articulate, Captivate, Vyond).
- Knowledge of training development methodologies and models.
- MUST HAVE an online portfolio
Location: Preferred Hybrid – Alpharetta, GA (2 days onsite: Tue/Thu preferred; rest virtual) Some travel required. If in another geography, multiple virtual meetings on Tuesday and Thursday will be required.
Status: 1099 Contract $50/hour
Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week.
